Masamichi Ueta

An architect and entrepreneur. He spent his first eighteen years in Tosa, in Kochi Prefecture. While studying architecture at Waseda University, he was involved with the design office nendo in its early days, after which he joined Kajima Corporation, where he worked on architectural design and urban planning projects both in Japan and abroad. He graduated from the real estate design program at Harvard University as a Fulbright Scholar. After gaining investment experience at a foreign real estate fund, he founded U Share Inc. He teaches at Waseda University and Keio University, and also serves as the Japan liaison for the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
