For 15 years, he worked in international business at three foreign-affiliated companies, including Hewlett-Packard and Morgan Stanley. He then joined the founding of WeWork's Japan operations, where he led the effort to provide international work environments in which members learn from one another and grow together. Through the Tokyo Junior Chamber of Commerce (a public-interest incorporated association, where he served as President in 2015), he gained experience in youth development and in regional revitalization driven by collaboration among industry, government, academia, and citizens. He has also served as a member of the Shibuya Ward Assembly and as a Visiting Researcher at the Institute for Public Service at Waseda University. As a regional revitalization advisor, he communicates the importance of human connection while striving to create places for growth through community building.
