土岐 好隆
Senior Advisor (Former MD, Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities)
After joining Daiwa Securities, he was seconded to Daiwa Securities America. There he developed Japan's first-ever securitization deals (auto loans, leases, card receivables, and apartment-loan receivables) and structured numerous real estate securitization products in the United States as well. At Sumitomo Marine & Fire Insurance, he was responsible for the guarantee and investment of securitization products and for launching new businesses. At the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, he handled a large number of deals, working on transactions for Mitsubishi Estate and Kyoritsu Maintenance, among others, and laying the foundation for an abundant and stable deal flow. At Mitsubishi Securities (now Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd., where he served as Managing Director), he built new businesses in real estate M&A, corporate real estate (CRE), renewable energy, and other fields. He also handled many large transactions, including the sale of GE Japan's domestic real estate business and the carve-outs of the real estate subsidiaries of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Kobe Steel. In 2025, he founded a new company aimed at achieving a true fusion of real estate and finance. He has been involved in winning mandates for numerous deals and, as a project leader, in deal structuring and product sales. He has also devised many novel approaches that match client needs, in areas such as condominium development and the liquidation of owned real estate. He established the foundation of securitization in Japan, along with the frameworks for private REITs and real estate M&A. With a track record of more than 1,500 securitization transactions handled, he ranks at the top in Japan. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Tokyo (his seminar focused on securities).
