From Nara Prefecture. While a student at Waseda University, Kohara studied abroad at Lund University in Sweden and encountered "fika," a culture of enjoying tea and conversation. After graduating, Kohara studied pastry at Le Cordon Bleu. Kohara now runs three Nordic-themed café-bakeries in Tokyo, handling store operations, product development, brand building, social media outreach, and more. At U Share, Kohara hopes to draw on this experience of creating cafés in store development, and to share the culture of enjoying everyday life experienced in the Nordic countries.
