Doctors' Lounge

The Kudan Building project is a renovation plan that converts one section of about 160 sqm on the existing building's second floor into the Doctors' Lounge, while also carrying out integrated development of an indoor connecting corridor. Under the concept of 'bringing a place people want to use to more people', it was planned as a space ideal for Networking, Ideation, and Relaxation -- and one you would want to use day to day. It is also appointed as Luxury x Casual, so it can host doctors and university professors while serving equally well for meetings and exchange. Planting set along the windows of the Doctors' Lounge lets you feel the 'greenery and environment' of the Imperial Palace from within, across the moat. And by shaping a façade through which people walking in front of the Kudan Building can likewise sense the 'greenery and environment' inside the Doctors' Lounge, the project set out to realize a 'place people want to use' for many.
