Mameo

This television drama is an original work starring Takako Matsu, with a screenplay by Yuji Sakamoto. It is a romantic comedy following a thrice-divorced single woman, played by Takako Matsu, as she battles through each day while being run ragged by her three ex-husbands, played by Masaki Okada, Akihiro Kakuta, and Ryuhei Matsuda. We collaborated on production items related to the making of the television drama (residential model making, drawing design, and so on) as well as on acting guidance. For this drama supervision, a selection of the architectural works and real estate development projects we have handled appear as props within the drama. We also designed and provided, from the ground up, the warm-hearted projects underway at Shirokuma Housing, the design-oriented construction company led by Takako Matsu's character. Architecture and drama are alike in that both first draw up a fictional vision, then make that worldview real through CG and video. Working down to the settings behind the drama, the screenplay, and the finest details of the architectural projects, we consulted closely with everyone involved, and the result, we believe, is a drama that is persuasive and grounded in reality while still being comical and funny.
