In Japan, utilities and Wi-Fi are normally contracted and billed separately from rent. U Share is all-inclusive, so comparing rent figures alone makes it look expensive. We therefore show two numbers separately: the rent you can compare with an ordinary rental, and the monthly total that will not grow.
No furniture or appliances to buy, and no personal guarantor. Nothing else is charged as a fixed monthly cost after you move in.

The flagship residence of U Share Student, opened in March 2021. All 31 rooms are fully furnished, so you can settle in the day you arrive. Four residents per floor share a kitchen, living space and bathroom — a share-house where you'll know your neighbours within days and make friends from your very first week. A 1–4 month monthly plan is available too, making it a great fit for shorter exchange stays.

Frequently Asked Questions
I barely speak Japanese — can I really live here?
Yes. English and Japanese mix naturally in daily life, and bilingual staff and RAs are always there. Ask anything, no matter how small.
Can I apply without a Japanese guarantor?
You can sign by using our designated guarantor company. Rooms come fully furnished, so arriving with one suitcase is enough.
Will I make friends, or end up isolated?
RAs invite you to meals and bring you into the circle, and monthly gatherings connect residents across floors. This community is designed so no one is left isolated.
How much does it actually cost to live at U Share?
Is it possible to visit the property before applying?
